Since the beginning of this 5 part tutorial, we've learned (1) what Google sitemaps are for, (2) how to create sitemap files, (3) how to structure large files and (4) how to submit them online. Now we can go through some of the errors you might encounter and how to resolve them.

Google Sitemaps (Pt3) Structuring Large Sitemaps
In the last segment of this tutorial, I discussed how to create regular sitemaps and index-sitemaps. Here, I will explain in details, strategies on how to create multiple files for larger, more complex sites.
The key to structuring your sitemap(s) is the same as structuring your own site. Make certain you maintain the same outline within your sitemap(s) as within site to ensure that all of your pages are detailed properly.

Stay Away From 'Tell A Friend' Scripts For Viral Marketing Purposes:
This widely used viral marketing tool is destroying many online networks. Just last month, our entire network was under attack and was responsible for sending out millions of spam email to people we didn't even know from a user within our server that wasn't generated by us.
If your site does take advantage of a "Tell A Friend" script for marketing your site, please take it down right away!!! This tool is so dangerous it's not even funny.
