I've just introduced an upgraded article submission page within Article99.com that helps the author even more than before. This new article submission form has been in the works for a while now, but finding the time to make the upgrade has been fustrating to say the least. Authors now have everything they need to submit article properly to our directory.

After having the same author guidelines for almost 2 years now, it was time to update the information. You'll notice that these new author guidelines are a little extensive, but necessary to outline everything with what is expected from authors who submit articles to Article99.com

Last week I updated the new profile stats section. From October 25th, 2007, all visitors viewing author profile section pages where no longer being logged the same way as before. In the past, visitors where only logged as a single hit (Ex. 20hits + 1). Now, I've included even more information and statistical details....

In my effort to think outside of the box, I've come up with a unique way for authors to manually submit articles online. Submitting articles manually online is extremely time consuming, I hope with this unique tool it will help authors to shave some time off their efforts online. This tool is not automated in any way, but is useful for authors who believe in utilizing their personal touch for submitting articles. How does this work? When submitting articles manually online you typically need to open multiple text files just to submit one article.

This United Kingdom specific upgrade within Article99.com was extremely hard to do. What I though would of taken 1/2 a day, took over 2-1/2 days to complete. The reason for this is the historial regions, counties, and districts that no longer exist within the United Kingdom. I've learned a great deal about how the UK is governed and especially how each section is broken up into regions...

India has now been included within the top countries category. Authors from India have now been sorted into 35 different state & territory categories.

This update is an addition to the previous post about new provincial/state categories for Canada & the United States. Today I just added Australia to the list to including state & territories within Australia.

With the increase in author memberships within Article99.com, I felt it was finally time to introduce more local search engine friendly author pages. Although we already have many sections already dedicated to displaying authors within our system, I wanted to Article99.com to start targeting more locally optimized content through provincial (Canada) & state (United States) sub-categories to within the "Authors By Country" section...

While reviewing articles extensively this week, I've made the decision to add many new sub-categories to the list. Not that Article99.com needs more, but we now have over 466 categories for article submissions, they are...

Yesterday I uploaded new and improved top level article categories within Article99.com. The last time they were actually updated was back in February of this year. With my new template "boxes", the look and feel of article99.com is much more welcoming than before and much more pleasing to the eye...

After much thought, I thought it would be useful for publishers to have access to OPML(Outline Processor Markup Language) RSS feeds for Article99.com

Article99.com now accepts live blog submissions from bloggers world wide without having to create an author account... This feature enables even more submissions to my blog directory within article99.com and helps to build link popularity online....
