Unique & Old Visitors:

Each visitor viewing any of our author profile pages is now logged with a session ID (Just a fancy term to give each visitor a unique ID). The 1st time a brand new visitor goes through any author profile page, they are logged into the data base as a unique visitor. From there on, they are no longer unique and are logged as an "repeat" visitor.

This now gives you an idea of how many visitors are just browsing around and hitting your author section, or how many visitors are coming from another source like Google, MSN, or Yahoo.

Visitors By Date:

In the past, Article99.com never logged each visitor individually. Because of this, we couldn't show you hourly, daily, monthly, or even yearly stats. As of October 26th, 2007, each author has the ability to track how many visitors they get each day, month, and year. In the near future after the bugs have been tweaked out, I will also introduce hourly stats as well.

How Can Daily, Monthly, and Hourly Stats Help Me?

When your articles get approved within Article99.com, it bumps up your author profile as well. These new stats are a great way to measure your success through posting even just one article. In the future, you will be able to judge how many visitors you receive for each article that is posted.

1. Author Profile Section (Detailing the author, articles, contact information, and other pages)
2. Author Tracking Link (Unique tracking link added to the bottom of your articles)
3. Author Extended Biography Page (Only if you've created one)
4. RSS Feed Builder (This page allows visitors to customize your feeds)
5. RSS Feed (This is your actual RSS feed)
6. Link To Author Page (Allows visitors to copy & paste code that links to your author profile section)
7. Email A Friend (Allows visitors to email their friends about your profile)
8. Reprint Articles (Allows visitors to easily reprint all of your articles)
9. Recommended Resources (A page created to show all of your recommended listings)
10. Recommended Books (A page detailing any book recommendations)
11. Favorite Quotes (A page showing any favorite quotes submitted by you)
12. Blog Listings (A page showing your recommended blogs)

Login Here: http://members.article99.com/
Click on "Update Profile > Profile Stats" from the top dropdown menu.

This new visitor logging is just in trial phase. Later on I intend on introducing the same quality stats for your articles as well. I didn't want to interrupt article stats until I was certain that my new stat scripts where working just fine.
